I only have Cam Ward as a starter , Peteres , mcElliney and Conklin , in a very deep league , I have drafted Seguin , would a trade for Price be good for me... Read More »

Based on your situation I can see why you'd do it if you did, but it would be terrible to trade Seguin and him be a stud, when Price has never been anything close to that.
Seguin is a C though, and ranked much worse then Price and your goalie situation is horrible.
If you can't wait, then you should do it, but if you can wait you may find out that you can squeak by on G stats without giving up a great prospect.... Read More »

To is not really any better than it was last year and like I said he would have had 32 pts or so in a full 82 games. Why are you expecting a jump back up to nearly 50? In those years he was on a contending Flames team and as the team got worse, so did he. The Leafs are no Flames.
Markov, I don't see 60 pts as being empty when some people have forwards who don't even get that. and Averaging his PIM since the lockout and projecting that over 82 games it's 60 PIM, not exactly Lady Bing material. A... Read More »

No, that's not my logic at all, lol. To me, that sounds more like your logic on Phaneuf. "Since Phaneuf was poo last year, he will be poo again. Likewise, since Robidas was good last year, he will be good again". The Flames were never THAT good, so I'm not really buying the connection you laid out. I just see what he can do on the ice and to me, he looks like a guy who should flirt with 50 points - and not an assist-padded 50 points either. Other than his phenomenal third year and hi... Re: Drop Smyth for Hartnell or Huselius?
National News Source:Draft and Trade Talk - about 1 hour ago
I would keep Ryan Smyth. Kristian Huselius is a good player but who knows what kind of numbers he's going to put up. Coaches have a history of benching him for indifferent play. Smyth will be playing on the Kings top line with Anze Kopitar which will help his point totals. Huselius is a left-winger and will play behind Rick Nash in Columbus.
Scott Hartnell was brutual last year and only scored 14 goals but did show some promise in the playoffs. The only thing that scares me with Smyth is... Read More »
